How to get there: You need to arrive to Manado, capital of Sulawesi Island, Indonesia. There are many airlines arriving to Jakarta International Airport (Java Island). From there you flight to Manado, Air Asia has international and national low fares if you book online in advance. A faster way to get there is take a flight directly from Singapore, We can make the ticket reservations for you if need it.
Immigration: Most nationalities can get a visa on arrival, usually valid for one month. If you need visas for a longer period or want to visit places like west Papua, you will need to get a visa/permit in advanced. Check here for more information.
Arrival-departure: We will greet you at the Manado International airport to transport you the 60 minute ride to your hotel in Lembeh Island. You need to arrive at least one day in advance of the course start date. Transportation from the airport to the island is included.
Important safety rule: Departure should be at least 24 hours after your last dive to reduce the risk of decompression sickness.
What to bring: Please, remember to bring the completed student forms and your dive certification (if you have any). Bring your notebook if you want to work on editing after class. Hot weather clothes, sunglasses, swim suit and flip flops will be your uniform for this week. If you forget anything, most toiletries and other items can be purchased in the area.

Indonesia Guide: It is quite easy to travel on your own in Indonesia, but some planning is recommended. Tons of guides and online info are available. Our experience and contacts in the area are at your disposal, although we are not in the tourism business and do not sell non-dive related excursions or endorse any particular tour company.
